I don't have any issues with it coming off too easily, in fact, sometimes it's hard to snap the second hinge on. The hinge attaches close to the fabric of the seat, so if I often have to look to see if I'm hitting the seat fabric while snapping on the tray. Other than that, it's perfect+ for holding her cup and putting her cheerios and other finger foods in the tray so she can snack while we are strolling, shopping or running errands. It detaches easy for clean up and cleans up easy with a baby wipe. The cup holder is a good depth, seems like a cup will stay put even if you hit some bumps while strolling. I have a few short sippys with handles that don't work because the handles get in the way of the tray, but I think my Born Free sippys with handles will fit fine. Something I didn't think about before I got it, since I have 2 seats, one for an infant and one for a 3 yr old, the seat with the tray on will fit behind... But it comes off pretty easily, when opened to take the baby out he often grabs it and off comes the whole thing! It's the only one available for this stroller, so there isn't another option. It is a great addition to the city select. I used my city select tray-less for about 6 months and I honestly don't know how I got by. I love that that I can flip open the tray...and you can do this with the seat placed in the higher postion! You simply have to reach under the outer bar and click it open. My son is 2.5 yrs old and it is a great deterrent in him trying to get out of his seat. It is perfect for feeding him snacks or even lunch away from home. I walk around town alot for excercise and because I live close to many great local activities to take my son to so this gets tons of use. It fits every sippy cup that I've tried beautifully and I even on occasion strap my sons muvn case for his ipad to this tray- great for when you spend 3 hours trekking around ikea. Really great buy I only wish baby jogger had included this with the stroller to begin with. |
